Late payments in commercial transactions
It should be noted that the European Parliament, in order to facilitate the performance of economic activities in the Community market, has issued Directive 2000/35 / EC with the aim of standardizing the regulations of the Member States in commercial transactions in order to avoid late payments.
This directive, implemented with Legislative Decree no. 9 of 2002 October 231 and published in the Official Gazette no. 249 of 23 October 2002, makes substantial changes in commercial relations and we will state their scope below.
