Facilitations for southern businesses

On 8 October 2013, in the Official Gazette no. 236, the Ministerial Decree was published defining the terms, methods and procedures for the granting of concessions for the areas of the “Convergence Objective” 1 regions. The funds allocated to companies amount to a total of 90 million euros.

On 20/11/2013, on the other hand, the Ministry for Economic Development issued the Decree to regulate the procedures for submitting the loan application, of which, to date, only publication in the Official Gazette is missing.
As required by law, admitted companies have the right to receive benefits within the limits of their financial resources.

Facilitation applications, with related documentation attached, digitally signed, must be sent via IT procedures starting from 10.00 on 27 February 2014.

Part of the loan obtained is non-repayable and must not be repaid, while the part of the grant to be repaid is repaid without interest, in six-monthly installments, in a maximum of 7 years.

The concessions are granted on the basis of a complex evaluation procedure based on some variables: method of submitting loan applications, conditions of the company, positioning, economic and financial capacity.
