Reform of the state tax system
It should be noted that, on May 8, 2002, the bill of delegation to the Government for the reform of the state tax system was approved by the Chamber of Deputies. Without prejudice to the further parliamentary passage, where changes are likely to be made, the next Finance Law will certainly make applicable, as early as January 1, 2003, some of the changes contained in the bill.
With this work, therefore, we intend to provide a first framework on the inspiring principles of the reform, also highlighting the most relevant innovations introduced for direct taxes, so that the interested parties, in the elaboration of their economic choices, can immediately evaluate the changes that the reference fiscal scenario will undergo.
