Stability Law 2016/4: substitutive declaration for cancellation of the fee to RAI

Law no. 208/2015 (hereinafter the “Stability Law” or also the “Law”), published in the Official Gazette no. 302 of 28 December 2015, in article 1, paragraph 153, has made changes to article 1, second paragraph, of the royal decree law 21 February 1938 n. 246, inserting the presumption of possession of the television set, in the event that the user has signed a contract for the supply of electricity, in the place where he has his registered residence. To overcome the presumption provided therein, starting from 2016, only a declaration issued pursuant to the consolidated text of the President of the Republic no. 28, to be presented to the Revenue Agency according to the procedures established by the provision prot. No. 2000 of 445 March 45059. With the aforementioned provision, the model of the self-declaration was approved, for the exclusive use of users for the supply of electricity for residential domestic use, as well as the related procedures and terms for submitting the model .
